Not sure which e-mail account I used when setting up LegacyApp

During the initial installation and configuration of LegacyApp, you used a Google Drive or Apple iCloud account.

To access your backup, especially during a fresh installation of LegacyApp on a new device, you will need a login password. Therefore, you need to set up your password.

How to access your backup: Step-by-step guide

  1. Click HERE (https://legacyapp.rip/en/reset-password) to go to the "Forgot Password" page.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Google or Apple account that contains your backup. If you are unsure which email address you used to create your LegacyApp account, the easiest method is to search your mailboxes for messages from: @app.legacyapp.rip. The email address that received messages from this sender is associated with your LegacyApp account.
  3. LegacyApp will send you an email containing a unique link to create a new password. Use this link to set up a new password.
  4. After setting up the new password, open LegacyApp on your smartphone and enter the email address and password you just set up.

Done! You will now be able to restore your data from the backup. The app will ask you for the secret password you previously used to encrypt the backup. Don't worry, you will receive a hint that you set earlier.
